Any Bike, Any Distance, Anywhere - join us for the 5th Annual Ride Hard Challenge!

On the weekend of April 26 and 27, The Ride Hard Breathe Easy Team will follow our dear friend, Isabella’s advice, and challenge ourselves to ride any bike, any distance, anywhere; and raise awareness and money for lung cancer patients.

Here is our plan!

  • On Saturday, April 26th, Ride Hard Breathe Easy Board Member Lisa Etkins, and friend Rachele Lee, and Cristina Dolchin (picture above), will again ride 100 miles on their Pelotons.  You too can join them on Pelotons or any bike.
  • On Sunday, April 27th, Ride Hard Breathe Easy Board Members and supporters will hit the Schuylkill River Trail for a ride of any distance between 8:30am and 1:00 pm.  And we will celebrate afterwards at Conshohocken Brewing Company.
  • We also welcome you to join us on the Summiit Challenge App or Strava – just search for “Ride Hard Breathe Easy.”

As Lisa Etkins, social worker at Fox Chase Cancer Center who started this event, says, “We ride because we can!  And I am honored to ride for my patients”!

Lisa goes on to say, “We pedal for funds to help pay for groceries, rides to treatment, help towards rent/mortgages, offsetting costs of utility bills, phone bills and so much more.  Ride Hard Breathe Easy helps patients directly through their partners: Temple Health Lung Center, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center-Jefferson Health, Duke Cancer Institute, Dartmouth Cancer Center, Crozer Health, and Johns Hopkins. We can’t wait to ride again!”

We hope to rrrrride with you during the Ride Hard CHallenge!
